COMPANY HISTORY
Process Equipment Company was founded in 1946 by Mr. Emmert Studebaker (1905 - 2000). Emmert's original concept was a company devoted to the design and build of special machines for the American Industry. Growing from a 1000 square foot machine shop located behind Mr. Studebaker's home, Process Equipment has grown to five Plant locations, housing four business units, utilizing over 385,000 square feet of floor space.
From its inception, Process Equipment Company has been in the business of innovation. Over the past five decades it has built literally thousands of "one-of-a-kind" machines and systems. As a result, Process Equipment's customers benefit from an exceptional depth and breadth of experience gained in the building of special machines, automated assembly equipment, and robotic systems. Process Equipment brings to this vision the most advanced knowledge of high technology, a fierce dedication to customer satisfaction, and a tradition of aspiring to that special touch of genius.
Process Equipment also means flexibility. For example, not only does Process Equipment work to customer furnished drawings, but also to designs developed by its own highly experienced engineering staff. The objective, at all times, is to draw on its extensive resources and know-how and utilize them in a way that best meets the unique needs of its customers. But while innovative and flexible approaches are key elements in its growth, Process Equipment's real success story is written by its people-nationally acclaimed machine builders who thrive on the challenges of venturing into untried areas. Process Equipment professionals are organized for success through quality.
Each project, regardless of its scope or complexity, is assigned a project manager who stays with the work from concept through completion. Depending on the specific requirements, this could include engineering, design, fabrication, machining, assembly, try-out testing, debugging, and shipment---all completed in-house at one or more of Process Equipment's five plant locations. This single-source responsibility ensures absolute conformance to customers' specifications, as well as strict control of costs and schedules
Contract gear inspection is offered in our Certified Temperature Controlled Laboratory in Tipp City, OH.
