Founded in November 1970

  • 1971 Sale of first grinding worm dressing device with rotating diamond wheels
  • 1975 Commencement of the developement of the gear honing machine
  • 1978 Developement of diamond broaches for the machining of hardened internal splines used on conventional broaching machines
  • 1979 Removal to own premises at Ringstrasse 20, Dübendorf Dispatch of the first honing machine First participation at the international machine tool exhibition EMO
  • 1984 Developement of gear honing machine with automatic loader
  • 1985 Numerically controlled gear honing machine (CNC)
  • 1986 Commencement of building of new factory
  • 1987 Inauguration ceremony of the new factory

    The beginning of the young, dynamic enterprise, that was founded in the year 1970, was marked by the ambitious aim of the company's founder to produce good gears economically, and to substantially improve the hitherto attained quality.

    Thanks to the enormous practical and theoretical knowledge, combined with unpreceedented energy, these high aims were more than acheived. On launching the enterprise at the age of 35 years, the founder of the company, Albert Fässler, did not even dream that within a few years he would have a team of over 70 qualified employees in his own factory building. Fässler is producing machines, devices and tools highly appreciated by specialist circles and exported to all industrial countries worldwide.

    The goals are being followed with the same enthusiasm even after the retirement of Mr. Albert Fässler in 1995 as the Executive Director of this company.
