Fairchild Industrial Products Company's line of Specon precision power transmission equipment offers the highest quality mechanical variable speed, variable speed differential, and phase/timing/position correction differentials in the industry. Our developing technology in this product has been the basis for our growth and leadership in the power transmission field.
For 50 years, industries have relied on our product line of power transmission equipment for dependable performance in speed control and position control. Our transmissions are used in applications such as printing, paper, packaging, and textiles for web-tension control and precise speed regulation. Additionally, our transmissions are used for machine tools, conveyors, timing, trim speed operations, and other OEM applications. Every mechanical power transmission we build is engineered to operate optimally in its application.
We have built our reputation by providing quality products, excellent customer service, quick delivery, competitive prices, and prompt response to our customers' needs.
SPEED & RATIO CONTROL
Fairchild speed control transmissions are totally enclosed mechanical variable ratio drives. As opposed to belt or traction drives, all Fairchild models are positive with zero slip. Some transmissions combine the variable speed unit with a mechanical differential to expand or compress the final speed range.
POSITION OR REGISTER CONTROL
Fairchild Position or Register control transmissions are enclosed mechanical differentials designed to precisely control the angular phase relationship of mechanically connected rotating equipment. These differentials are used for dynamic synchronizing and timing of different machine elements.
SPEED & POSITION/REGISTER CONTROL
Often an application does not fit exclusively into speed/ratio or position/register control. These special applications require simultaneously controlling the speed and position of the transmission output.
